Siding That Looks Right and Performs Right

Modern siding deserves modern detailing — drainage planes, flashings, and reveal lines that respect the architecture.

Overview

What this service actually is.

Most siding failures are water problems disguised as material problems. We install with a proper drainage plane (rain screen where appropriate), flashed openings, and reveal details that hold tolerances.

We install fiber cement (James Hardie and similar), real wood (cedar, redwood), and engineered composites. Profiles range from lap and shiplap to board-and-batten and modern reveal panels.

What's included

  • Underlayment / weather-resistive barrier
  • Flashing at windows, doors, and transitions
  • Furring strips for rain-screen detail (where specified)
  • Material install with proper fastener pattern
  • Trim, corner, and reveal details
  • Caulking and paint where required
Our process

How a siding project runs.

01

Consultation

We start with a no-pressure consultation — usually a walkthrough at your home — to understand how you use the space, the constraints, and what a successful siding install looks like for you.

02

Design & Scope

We translate the goals into drawings, materials, and a written scope with realistic line-item pricing. Nothing vague, nothing buried.

03

Permits & Pre-Construction

We pull permits, finalize selections, schedule trades, and protect the rest of your home before demolition. You receive a written timeline.

04

Build

One project manager, consistent crew, weekly written updates, and clean job sites. Inspections handled by us.

05

Punch List & Closeout

We walk the project with you, complete the punch list, hand over warranties and care guides, and stay reachable after closeout.

Common concerns

What homeowners ask before signing.

Fiber cement vs wood?

Fiber cement is more dimensionally stable and lower-maintenance. Real wood reads better in some architectural contexts. We discuss both honestly.

Will we need to repaint?

Pre-finished fiber cement lasts 15+ years; wood typically needs paint or stain every 5–8 years depending on exposure.

Can you mix siding with stucco?

Yes. We detail the transitions with proper flashing and trim.
