Hardscape That Reads as One Design
Good hardscape lines up with the architecture and the eye. Bad hardscape feels like it was specced in pieces. We plan it together.
What this service actually is.
Material, base prep, joint detail, and drainage are the four levers of a hardscape that lasts. We don't skip any. Pavers go on properly compacted aggregate; concrete is jointed where the eye expects it; walls are engineered above 4 feet.
We work in poured concrete, stamped concrete, pavers, natural stone, and decomposed granite. We also do retaining walls and stairs.
What's included
- Site survey and grading
- Excavation and base prep
- Drainage (surface and subsurface)

How a hardscaping project runs.
Consultation
We start with a no-pressure consultation — usually a walkthrough at your home — to understand how you use the space, the constraints, and what a successful hardscape project looks like for you.
Design & Scope
We translate the goals into drawings, materials, and a written scope with realistic line-item pricing. Nothing vague, nothing buried.
Permits & Pre-Construction
We pull permits, finalize selections, schedule trades, and protect the rest of your home before demolition. You receive a written timeline.
Build
One project manager, consistent crew, weekly written updates, and clean job sites. Inspections handled by us.
Punch List & Closeout
We walk the project with you, complete the punch list, hand over warranties and care guides, and stay reachable after closeout.
What homeowners ask before signing.
Pavers or concrete?
Pavers are easier to repair and replace; concrete is cheaper and more uniform. We weigh both.
Will it crack?
Concrete moves — we control where it cracks with proper joints. Pavers move slightly and self-correct.
Drainage to where?
To the curb, drywell, or planted area — handled in design.
